For the past 30 years the Rotary Club of Upper Eden has run an annual event, the YOMP Mountain Challenge. This a Run, Walk or Race over 3 courses of 23 miles, 11.5 miles, or 6.5 miles of the Cumbrian Fells, and has successfully raised thousands of pounds for charitable causes.
