Where your money goes

“We have a reputation for making the money we do have work effectively. People take pleasure in knowing their donation goes straight on boxes.”

Ian Munday,

Chair, ShelterBox UK

At just under 6%, ShelterBox spends considerably less on raising funds than most charities. The typical proportion of income spent on fundraising by other charities is between 20%- 25%. We do all we can to keep overheads low by using our networks of volunteers both in the UK and worldwide.
